Roads & pavements

The Roads Network Management Service is responsible for the administration, inspection, maintenance and improvement of the public roads, footways and street lighting in East Ayrshire. There are two principal Area Offices – one in Kilmarnock and the other in Lugar. In addition the public has easy access to the services through local Council offices in communities throughout East Ayrshire.

A headquarters unit, based at the main Roads Division offices in Greenholm Street, Kilmarnock, ensures that a co-ordinated and effective service is provided throughout East Ayrshire. Contact 01563 576310 (for the north area) and 01563 555337 (for the south area) for more information.
