Ribbons for Redcar

George Dunning, Redcar & Cleveland Council leader, said: "Construction is entering an exciting stage. The foils are really what set the building apart. As they are put in to place we will finally see the architectural design of the building come to life, and resemble the digital images that weve had on display.

"These ribbons of colour twisting and wrapping around the vertical pier really are the icing on the cake but while it may look complete there's still work to be done before it opens to the public later in the year. This will be a stunning and iconic piece of design for the seafront and its public viewing platform will afford dramatic sea views."
