Aids & Adaptations

We are committed to providing adaptations to the homes of residents who are disabled or have mobility problems, so that they can live safely and independently for as long as possible

We provide in-house funding for minor adaptations, and will assist you to apply for a Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) from a Local Authority for major adaptations.

Adaptations do not include the following work:

- Work outside, unless it is necessary to allow access to the property.

- Supplying or installing mobility scooter ramps or storage space.

- Sound insulation, double glazing and central heating.
