Priory Court secures £10,000 Lottery grant

The Big Local Trust, set up by the Big Lottery Fund to improve local areas, has awarded £10,000 of their Getting People Involved grant to Circle 33 Housing Trust to make Waltham Forest’s Priory Court a better place to live.

Circle 33 worked in partnership with over 40 organisations to secure the funding. Thanks to the award, the team at Priory Court will be able to get more people involved in their community. There will be more seasonal events and they will also consult with local people and community groups about what they want to see changing in their neighbourhood. The funding will also be used to create a newsletter, recruit local volunteers and the make a short-film project about what life is really like on the estate.
