SCWDP

Denbighshire's Social Care Workforce Development Partnership (SCWDP) was set up in 2003 following the Welsh Assembly's publication of Training and Staff Development across the Social Care Sector to ensure 'One Sector – One Workforce'. This gave each local authority the lead responsibility for the Social Care Workforce Development Grant.

Aims of the partnership

The primary aim is for a whole sector approach to meeting training needs and attaining national qualification targets. We aim to support employers of social care workers with training, continuous professional development and workforce matters.
