Grown-up explorers and young adventurers are in for a treat with a real-life treasure hunt providing a great excuse to get outdoors this half term.

North Wales Borderlands, taking in Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire, is championing the return of the good old-fashioned family day out… with a special technological twist.

North Wales Borderlands has embraced the growing sport of Geocaching – a modern-day treasure hunt in which users find hidden ‘caches’ or treasure using clues gained via iPhone, the Internet and GPS equipment.
