Veterans urged to join Armed Forces Day

The Mayor of Dudley will be officially presenting medals and badges to veterans including the HM Armed Forces Veterans Badges or an Arctic Star and Bomber Command clasp. Anyone who has received either award is urged to come forward to be able to take part in the ceremony.

Councillor Melvyn Mottram, Mayor of Dudley, said:

“The Armed Forces Day celebrations are always a huge success and this year is shaping up to be a great day out for the whole family.

“We especially want to hear from servicemen and women who are entitled to, or have already been sent the HM Armed Forces Veterans Badges or the Arctic Star and Bomber Command clasp.
