Oral Health Strategy

The final strategy document has been revised where appropriate to account for decisions made as a result of feedback from members of the public, dentists and professional bodies etc., including:

- Recognition that prevention should be linked to patient risk irrespective of age and that a continuing care relationship must enable sufficient time for effective prevention

- Recognition of the importance of education and its integral nature in the successful implementation of the strategy

- Recognition of the wider public health issues and the opportunities to join-up public health initiatives.
