Recovering business rates, the council's procedural steps are as follows:

Process that will be followed

- The issue of an annual bill (net of reliefs).

- The statutory instalments scheme will be followed (10 instalments allowed in a year).

- The first instalments must fall due at least 14 days after the issue of the bill.
