Sandwell launches Operation Clean Sweep

A major new clean-up campaign is under way in Sandwell, spearheaded by the council and its waste partner Serco.

Operation Clean Sweep is an eight-week intensive campaign to target grime hot spots and clear away litter, fly tipped rubbish, graffiti and dog mess.

The campaign builds on the success of the award-winning annual Big Spring Clean, which will also be running again this year.

The campaign will run throughout the rest of February and through March.
