Twin Valley Homes get the Charter Mark

Date: 10th June, 2009.
Twin Valley Homes has once again been given the Government's stamp of approval after coming through our "Charter Mark" inspection with flying colours.

Charter Mark is the Government standard for excellent customer services. Those who are awarded the prestigious mark must prove that customer service is at the centre of their business.

And we're delighted to announce that we've once again proved that we always put our customers first.

The assessor's report stated: "Twin Valley Homes works hard to bring a better quality of life its tenants. It continues to develop it existing practices as well as seeking new ways to improve its service delivery and add to the customer's choice."

"The management gives strong leadership and has made considerable efforts to understand the needs and aspirations of its tenants...It seeks to involve the tenants and staff in all aspects of service delivery planning."

"Twin Valley Homes...has developed strong partnerships and communicates very well with both its customers and partners.

"Twin Valley Homes...has a very committed workforce and is well respected by its partners.

"Twin Valley Homes...really does practice what it preaches and tries very successfully to be "More than a landlord."

The key points the assessors picked out were:

  • TVH has clear and challenging standards and always performs well against them.
  • TVH has a very active Tenants' Federation and has introduced innovative initiatives - such as Looking Local - to help customers stay connected.
  • TVH is well advanced towards its commitment to bring all its homes within the "Decent Homes" standard by 2012
  • As part of its "More than a Landlord" initiative, Twin Valley has and continues to make a strong contribution in its communities.

And, amazingly, we were given just one partial compliance (a fantastic achievement considering a body is allowed 17 non-compliances!)
