A visual guide to installing the internet channel on your Nintendo Wii console:

Installing_Wii_Internet_Channel.avi

The Internet Channel is now available to download from the Wii Shop Channel for free.

To download it:

  1. Connect your Wii console to the internet.
  2. Visit the Wii Shop Channel from your Wii Menu.
  3. Go to the Channels section, and download the channel—for 0 Wii Points!

If your wii is connected to the internet you should have gotten a message from Nintendo to your wii messages inbox. Clicking ok on this message will direct you to the download.

Good find Tony, one issue may be though that this video is from when the internet channel first came out (Says trial version on launch) and was free then as a beta, and not free now. If we re-record ourselves we should edit in down in length, shorting wait times. I have a wii which does not have internet channel and can record installation if required.
